Welcome to our new schedule for 2026 and to the Society, which still maintains three shows every year. 

 There are very few Societies that can still manage this. 

 The dates for the shows and the Annual General Meeting are on the Events page and would point out that the Spring show is a week later this year due to Easter’s date. 

We hope all our members will continue to support us in all our shows and encourage others to exhibit too.  The schedule includes something for everyone to enter ranging from flowers, vegetables and floral displays to photography, craft and cookery.  Make a resolution to enter an exhibit in at least one class, you never know you might “get the bug” and find yourself entering a few more.  There are also classes for children, and it would be wonderful to encourage them to take part, they are the future of our Society. 

Thanks must also go to those members and volunteers who help set up the hall, run raffles, serve the refreshments and clear away at the end.  Without this help the Summer show especially, would not raise the wonderful amount of money for our chosen charity.  On that note, the committee has yet to decide which local charity to support in 2026 and suggestions to committee members are welcome. 

We would like to ask all current members to be on the look out for new members and help us to promote our Society.  Why not welcome the new neighbour in your area and tell them our shows are a wonderful way to get to know a lot of people in the Lower Hardres and Nackington area and our Shows encompass far more than just gardening.
